at last finished the new Kersey collagraph I seemed to have been working on for ever! Just as well as it has to be delivered to Crooked House gallery Lavenham for their Winter Warmers exhibition next week! Still got masses to do!
Suddenly dawned on me that I am building up quite a collection of hare prints that include a church and moon...!!!

a day of ups and downs today!

very frantic printing day today ! Have to deliver to crooked house gallery in Lavenham next week and Im so far behind with everything! Finished cutting a new kersey block yesterday afternoon, sealed it yesterday evening and printed it today...but a real case of more haste less speed! block was obviously tacky and stuck to paper under the press and I was left with torn prints!!! Woe is me...but eventually managed a decent image.
There was however a definite "up" when the postman arrived and I found the lovely feature on myself in Green Pebble magazine!
Shame to hear that this is the last issue in this format but Im sure their new books will be lovely!

busy day as the wind blows!

been busy painting the Minsmere bittern ready to take to the Norwich Print Fair ! Thought it might be interesting to see the various stages of painting. This studio is the upstairs room rather than the print room outside! This is where I tend to paint ,frame ,make cards etc.It felt very cosy today as there was an absolute gale raging outside!!! One day I would like to have a big studio where everything is under one roof.....but I fear that wont happen until I win the LOTTERY!!!

the Aldeburgh rook
a new print especially for the print fair
really pleased with his head ! Im always amazed at how the animals in my prints seem to have a character of their own even though they 're not drawn in any particular way !
am I turning into Beatrix Potter ? !!!
